Elegance & Style - Terms and Conditions of Booking



We have never had a dispute in over 20 years of service. However it is important to make the client aware of our Terms and conditions that they agree to when making a booking with Elegence and Style.

Each car will be fully cleaned, polished and valeted prior to leaving the garage on the day. The chauffer will be very presentable and will have experience of your journey route and timings.

It is the responsibility of the client to verify that the supplied details, dates, times, addresses and contact numbers are corect on the booking form and during subsequent correspondance.

The booking is accepted based on the times and itinerary stated.

During these T&C's the customer is referenced as 'the hirer', and Elegance and Style as 'the company'.

1. Your booking date is only confirmed and secured once cleared funds from the deposit payment have been received.
2. The deposit required to secure a booking is £70 and is non-refundable.
3. Our invoice terms require full payment on account two months prior to the day of your wedding, with no exceptions. We have found this takes away any added complications that come when planning a wedding and gives you peace of mind. If you are making a last minute booking, or making a booking due to take place within the next two months, we expect payment within 14 days of invoice.
4. No service will be provided unless cleared funds have been received in full.
5. The company required immediate notification should an event be cancelled or postponed. Should either cancellation or postponement occour within 16 weeks of the event, 50% of the outstanding balance will be due. If cancellation occurs within the remaining 8 weeks before the event, 100% of the balance will be due.
5. It is at the Company's discretion to reschedule bookings for weddings that have been postponed. We generally find there to be no problem. However, full payment will still be due within three months of the original booking as stated.
6. The company prides itself on maintaining our vehicles to the highest possible standards. However, in the unforeseen event of a breakdown, accident, puncture, traffic jam or severe or extreme weather conditions, the company accepts no liability or responsibility for such and event. Should such an event occur, the company will undertake whatever measures are necessary to provide a service, including provision an alternative vehicle. At our discretion, we may provide compensation for certain occurences, although this will be limited to the initial hire charge.
7. The company accepts no liability for damage or loss of personal possessions or clothing during the booking, particularly during inclemant or extreme weather conditions.
8. No responsibility will be accepted for restrictions relating to vehicle access at any location.
9. The hirer will be held responsible for any damage caused to any of the vehicles used for the booking by the hirer, or the hirers guests.
10. The company reserves the right the change the terms and conditions at any time it deems fit.
